Story 5 & 6 (Louis Barry)

An anime-seasoned tale about the insight of individuals being checked onto a PC organize. The AIs in the system battle wrongdoing and live rehashing lives. Toward the finish of every year, they begin once more, however extraordinary storylines. A large number of 'additional items' populate the system and are the ones subject to damage and erasure. The hero has a friend through correspondence, in actuality, who discloses to her that this present reality is under assault and that there are no respawns and no additional items. The AI discovers this so coldblooded that individuals would eagerly murder each other when they can't return. I was experiencing difficulty seeing precisely what Saika's reality was, particularly when she presented Silverfist. Another media I related Intermission 5 to was the motion picture The Matrix. Since these different universes in the story are built of people on Earth and are their "sims" it helped me to remember when the connection to the virtual world.

a) In my own experience with the use of virtual spaces, I find it difficult to develop complex interpersonal relationships. It is possible to begin relationships through the use of virtual spaces, however I do not think it is possible to maintain any type of relationship unless the relationship is sought beyond the virtual space and into a real and intimate space. This is true especially if the relationship happens between a fully real entity. Yamamoto - Story 7 (Lauren)

provide an overview of your thoughts, feelings, ideas, responses to the book as a whole Overall, I liked the book. I think the idea of sending a message through storytelling is very interesting. The future is essentially unpredictable, but Yamamoto’s book offers an interesting interpretation with Artificial Intelligence. I really like how optimistic the book is, because most of us tend to be afraid of what might happen with AI, but there are a lot of positive aspects to appreciate about technology (as long as we don’t lose control of it).
