The first thing that the third story make me think of was Furbys. Furbys were a toyline made by Hasbro way back when. They were miniature animatronics that learned to speak based on how they were interacted with. Obviously, they weren't anywhere near as advanced as Mirror Girl, only being able to learn words that were already part of a preset list programed into the toys, as those were the only ones to have voice recordings. Wile the similarities end there, the concept of both is still strikingly similar. The AI I was most reminded of by this story is Yui, from Sword Art Online. While they are quite different in actual concept, as Yui was designed to serve as a therapist for players of Sword Art Online, while Shalice was made for entertainment purposes, only reaching self-awareness over time, as opposed to Yui, who was always aware of the truth of her own existence.
